Azerbaijan is represented by the commemorative stamp “National Archaeological Discoveries. Gobustan” in the annual postage stamp competition organized by the European Association of Public Postal Operators

A postage stamp with the image of the Gobustan rock carvings is participating in an international competition. It is made by "Azerpost" LLC operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The designer of the postage stamp is Gunel Isgandarova.

The traditional competition is held on the website of "PostEurop", the international association of state postal operators in Europe.

The theme of the competition, determined by the "PostEurop" working group on stamps and philatelists, is "National Archaeological Discoveries".

The competition, held from May 9 to September 9, is attended by national postal operators of "PostEurop" member countries that have the right to issue special postage stamps with a special identification symbol.
