Ambassador of Azerbaijan Pays a Working Visit to Bacău, Romania
On 27 November, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania, Mr. Gudsi Osmanov, paid a working visit to the city of Bacău.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the Mayor of Bacău, Mr. Lucian-Daniel Stanciu-Viziteu. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of relations between the regions of the two countries, including the establishment of sister-city relations between Bacău and one of the Azerbaijani cities with cultural and economic proximity. Potential areas of cooperation, the organization of mutual visits, and the development of sustainable partnership ties were also discussed.
The Ambassador provided information on favorable investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, as well as on major transport and logistics projects of strategic importance between Azerbaijan and Romania. He also spoke about the large-scale reconstruction and development projects currently being implemented in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region.
The Romanian side, in turn, expressed strong interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan, highlighting the economic and business potential of the region and emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to promote mutual investments.
Members of the Romanian Parliament, Senator Sebastian Cernic and Member of Parliament Teodor Lazăr, also attended the meeting.
