The 7th meeting of the Joint Commission on trade-economic relations and scientific-technical cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania was held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

On 24- 25 May 2023, the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission on trade-economic relations and scientific-technical cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania was held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Firstly, the delegation led by Mr. Sahil Babayev, the co-chairman of the commission, minister of labor and social protection of the population , visited "Heydar Aliyev Alley" located in Tei Park and laid flowers in front of the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation headed by Minister Sahil Babayev hold meetings with Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, the Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Sorin Mihai Grindeanu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. Marius-Constantin Budăi, Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, Mr. Virgil-Daniel Popescu, Minister of Energy and Mr. Florin Marian Spătaru, Minister of Economy.
Moreover, within the framework of the meeting, a Romanian-Azerbaijani business forum was organized with the participation of entrepreneurs from the two countries.
